Scuba Diving Video: Grand Cayman's Stunning Sights

If you are headed to Grand Cayman and looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of George Town, consider visiting the peaceful East End village on the island. You won’t find any large cruise ship crowds or traffic jams here, just tranquil nature trails and some truly phenomenal diving!

With 55 dive sites to choose from, the East End of Grand Cayman has something for every kind of diver. Whether you looking for majestic underwater mountains of coral or stunning reef dives, you will not be disappointed. The East End also offers a great variety of marine life ranging from turtles, tarpons, nudibranchs and reef sharks. You may even be lucky and see a great hammerhead shark!  Visibility tends to be very good year round and at times can be over 150 feet.

The west side of the island also offers some beautiful sites as well; my favorite being the spectacular Devil’s Grotto which is an easy shore dive and famous with underwater photographers for the great encounters with tarpons and silversides.   To book my trip, I ended up selecting the Ocean Frontiers & Compass Point Dive Resort. I must say, they run a very professional operation and really go out of their way to ensure you have an excellent trip.
