Amazing Video of Sailfish Hunting a Baitball in Isla Mujeres, Mexico

As we headed out from Isla Mujeres, Mexico, the captain’s face became serious as he signaled for us to get ready. My heart began pounding as the boat sped through the rough seas. 

As soon as I hit the water, all chaos broke out. Kicking as hard as I could through the huge swells, my eyes widened at what I saw: more than 20 Atlantic sailfish coordinating their attack on a ball of sardines!

The action was intense — non-stop carnage. I was completely entranced as the sailfish violently thrashed their bills into their prey. It was beautiful, yet intimidating to film them and an experience I will never forget.
