Here are four ways you can motivate the nondivers in your life to become PADI® Open Water Divers and help you get a new dive buddy in the process:
1. Share the PADI Go Dive® video. Talking about diving is one thing but seeing it is something else entirely. Show them what living the PADI dive lifestyle is all about.
2. Host a diving-themed movie night. Here's a list of more than 30 films featuring scuba diving to choose from.
3. Encourage a Discover Scuba® Diving experience. It’s a great way to get friends and family in the water to experience scuba diving before a full certification course.
4. Give the gift of a PADI eLearning® Gift Pass. This lets friends and family complete the knowledge development portion of the PADI Open Water Diver course when they want, how they want and where they want.
