Those divers who fell in love with the underwater world at a young age can certainly see the benefit of Margo Peyton's mission.
As president of Kids Sea Camp, Peyton shares the fun and excitement of diving with kids every day. PADI features Peyton's work, among seven other divers, with its My PADI campaign. Check out the video above for an inspiring look at scuba diving from Peyton.
“Diving and travel is a major educational tool for kids. It really provides them so much in a way of becoming a young adult," says Peyton. "Dive travel brings about in children the ability to become more organized, to become more aware of environments, marine life and their impact on those environments. And it helps them bond as a family.
“They like knowing that they are a buddy to their mom or dad.”
