Toynbee Maneuver
Pinch your nostrils closed and then swallow, pressing your tongue against the roof of your mouth.

Lowry Technique
A combination of Valsalva and Toynbee. Close your nostrils, blow and swallow at the same time.

Edmonds Technique
Tense the soft palate and throat muscles and push the jaw forward and down, and then pinch your nostrils and blow out gently.

Frenzel Maneuver
A variation on Toynbee, with sound — close your nostrils and close the back of your throat, then make a deep, prolonged grunting sound.

Yawn and Tilt
Tense your jaw and throat and then thrust the jaw forward and down. This modified yawn helps pull the eustachian tubes open. You can also try tilting your head from side to side (the side being stretched should be easier to clear).
