2018 Sport Diver Snapshots Photo Contest Winners
The 2018 Sport Diver Snapshots Photo Contest brought us some fantastic imagery. Congratulations to our grand prize winner, Jonathon Di Cecco. His image of Cenote Tajma Ha, outside of Tulum, Mexico captivated our judges. Each of our monthly winners is featured below.
As a reminder, in 2018, our panel of judges chose the the top two images each month. Then the monthly winner was determined by our Sport Diver Facebook audience. Each monthly winner was then eligible to win the overall grand prize — a trip for two aboard the Aqua Cat in the Bahamas, courtesy of Allstar Liveaboards.

Cenote Esmerelda is a small cenote that you pass diving the cavern line at Cenote Tajma Ha, Quintana Roo, Mexico. It's always a great spot for photos, but on this dive the light was just magic!

I took this photograph of a curious green sea turtle in the clear blue waters off of Hawaii's North Shore. I was surrounded by sea turtles feeding on seaweed that washed out from the rocky shoreline. I turned to see this turtle swimming toward the dome on my underwater housing. The curious turtle saw her reflection and slowly approached until nearly bumping my dome!
